With a strong emphasis on academic excellence, the Carol Morgan High school strives to maximize the learning of every student in the context of a safe and accepting environment.

These principles guide our work in realizing the school vision: “Founded in Integrity; Focused on Learning.”

Our TRIBES agreements reinforce five common agreements:

  • Mutual Respect
  • Attentive Listening
  • Appreciation
  • Right to Pass
  • Personal Best

Our rigorous college-preparatory program includes fifteen Advanced Placement courses:

English Language and Composition
English Literature and Composition
Spanish Literature and Composition
Environmental Science
World History
US History
European History
Studio Art

All students pursue further education with a high percentage moving on to universities in North America. The academic program is complemented by a strong arts program (band, choir, theater and visual arts), diverse activities and international athletic opportunities.

Our athletic teams compete in volleyball, basketball, and soccer in the Caribbean-American International Schools Sports Association (CAISSA). Our activities program includes service clubs (Reachouts, Tech for the Future, Tech for Maintenance, HeartCare Dominicana, Environmental, Habitat for Humanity), extended academics (National Honor Society, Math Olympics, Dominican History and Geography, Model United Nations), the arts (Choir Ensemble, Musical Bond) and general interests (e.g. Art, Business, Chess, Entrepreneurship).

We are working to fully integrate a 21st century curriculum and learning experiences through our developing concentration on the 5c´s: Creativity, Critical Thinking, Cooperation, Consciousness, and Communication.

We believe all students can and will learn when we provide a kind, appropriate learning environment and high quality instruction. We commit ourselves everyday to fulfilling that commitment!
