WELCOME TO THE ELEMENTARY LIBRARY
The Carol Morgan School Elementary Library program teaches student information literacy skills, while also encouraging them to read for fun. Students in grades 2-5 have regular research classes taught collaboratively with the Elementary Library Director, Classroom Teachers, and the Technology Facilitator. In these research classes the students learn the skills necessary to be 21st Century Learners and users of information.
The Elementary Library also houses a collection of over 11,000 titles. The library has books, magazines, multimedia, reference, and an entire Spanish collection available for students. The Library is open from 7:15-3:30 Monday-Thursday and from 7:15-2:45 on Fridays. Parents are welcome to check out books, and students are welcome in the library before or after school if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We'd love to hear from you!
