International Food Fair

On Saturday, March 24th we will be celebrating the annual CMS Spring Fest and with it our Fourth International Food Fair.  To make it successful, delicious and fun we need YOUR help!!!

The mission of the International Food Fair is to help make the CMS Spring Fest a more successful, family-oriented event, by serving as a venue for all parents and students to get involved, improving school spirit, enriching ourselves through bits and bites of different cultures, and ultimately reaching out to the community as a whole.

This year the IFF is very proud to announce that it will donate its revenues to “Un Techo para mi Pais”!

We hope to make a difference by achieving our minimum goal of RD$ 70,200,-  (one house).

There are three ways you can help:

  1. Donate a dish of your choice
  2. Simply come and try our variety of dishes with your family and have fun!
  3. Contribute monetarily to Un Techo Para mi Pais using our assigned “collection houses”

Guidelines:

No nuts please! (This school restriction includes all types of nuts). Additional tips to keep in mind: we would like more food dishes and less “picadera” items please. A vegetarian corner will be added this year. Refrigeration is NOT available! We have a grill and microwave to cook/re-heat food.  Rice and pasta dishes are very popular :)

Use a disposable container for your dish so we don’t need to return anything to you

Drop off your dish at the CMS cafeteria by 11:00 a.m. with a very brief and simple description (Example: Meat Lasagna / Italy)
