Dear CMS Community,

Heart Care Dominicana is a non-profitable institution dedicated to treat children with heart conditions. Since the year 2000 more than 1000 Dominican children have undergone heart surgery thanks to them. Most, if not all, of these children would have not been able to receive this medical attention if it weren’t for Heart Care and donors such as CMS. This is why we celebrated our CMS Heart Week Fund Raiser. During the past two weeks we had many fun and exciting activities to help raise money for Heart Care. These activities were sponsored by our Clubs, classes, Home Bases, Advisories and our PTO. 

Thank you for all the support you gave to this cause sending in your donations or participating in the activities throughout the week.  As a family we were able to raise a total of RD$283,999.25 pesos. This amount will help operate three children in the next Heart Care Dominicana mission starting on May 6^th through May 13^th 2012 at CEDIMAT.  Below you will find pictures of the activities students participated and some of the children we helped last year.
