GET READY FOR THE PE AND ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT FUN DAY!

The PE and Athletic Departments are sponsoring their annual Family Fun Day this coming Saturday April 21, 2012. All of the proceeds from this fantastic family day go to support the implementation of new and updated athletic and physical education equipment and resources.

This year the PE and Health  department has conducted a curriculum review of their PK-12 curricula.   They have proposed exciting new units and  learning activities for CMS students. Your support of Family Fun Day will help us implement some special, new, curriculum initiatives for students including a new Cargo Net for the gym! Thanks in advance to all of our families and staff who are able to attend and “ hats off” to the CMS staff who work so hard to organize this event.

YOUR DONATION WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO AT LEAST 5 CHILDREN

This week will are celebrating a very special member of the CMS staff, Mirna Ortega, Community Outreach Director. In honor of Mirna’s contributions to so many children in the Dominican Republic and her devotion to the students at CMS, all contributions to Heart Care Dominicana from the school administrators themselves  will be in Mirna’s name. All students, staff and parents are also invited to honor Mirna in this special way. Please help raise enough money this year to surpass our contributions from last year! Last year we raised enough money to cover the heart care for four children. This year we are aiming to cover the care of at least 5 children who without our help may not live to adulthood. Tell the teachers and school offices that your donation is for Mirna!
