If you wish to register your child for services for the next academic school year 2012-2013. Please remember to sign and return the consent form you’ve received at the last Parent Teacher Conference or in the Thursday folder. If you are in need of a new copy, please contact the OLC secretary, Ms. Mary Marti at (809) 947-1071. We would be more than happy to send a copy home with your child.

About Psycho-Educational Assessments …

Many parents will receive a letter requiring that their child undergo a psycho-educational assessment in order to continue receiving services in the OLC. While the assessment does require a fee and the process may sound intimidating, we would like you to know that it is a very helpful tool. The report provides the resource specialist and the classroom teacher with learning strategies for the classroom. It also suggests helpful tips for working with your child at home. If you have any questions about this test, please feel free to contact any of the specialists in the OLC.
