Dear Parents and Students,
“With June here, you can feel the heat of summer in the hallways. Days are longer, attention spans are growing shorter, and everyone is ready for a break. Children are ready to shrug off the mantle of "student" for the three-month break. But just because school is out, it doesn't mean that reading and learning should stop. Teachers know that many children can't afford to take such a long break. Young readers who don't continue to read over the summer are likely to lose crucial ground. One summer off can sometimes...

Changes to the ES Library
If you have been to the ES library you may have noticed some of the changes we have been making. Over the summer workers installed a new glass partition, to create a story steps area. HELPING HANDS ART EXHIBIT
The Fine Arts Department hosted the annual Helping Hands event on Thursday, May 3. This yearly occasion at CMS is another way that we as a community support local community service organizations by auctioning off students' artwork--elementary, middle, and high school--they have created over the past year. Fundación Futuro Posible is the benefactor of our efforts this year. Congratulations to the Fine Arts Department on a very successful Helping Hands Art Exhibit. Pictured above are various elementary school...
