Shark Shiver Monthly Meetings in January Focus on Tolerance

PK through second graders listened to New Friends, True Friends, Stuck Like Glue Friends by Virginia Kroll; it described how friends can be helpful (not hurtful) with each other. Third through fifth graders enjoyed hearing The Sandwich Swap by Queen Rani...

Dear CMS Community,
Heart Care Dominicana is a non-profitable institution dedicated to treat children with heart conditions. This is why we celebrated our CMS Heart Week Fund Raiser. During the past two weeks we had many fun and exciting activities to help raise money for Heart Care. These activities ...

DOMINICAN AUTHOR PRESENTS AT CMS
Cesar Sanchez Beras, author of "Sorpresas de Carnaval" came to visit as a part of our Spanish library experiences and share ideas about his book. There was an empathy between the students and the author and they asked him many questions about the story. Finally they asked the author to come back to school for another visit. He signed books for the students and students were motivated by his visit. The Dominican authors' visits are arranged by Mrs. Dorcas Aybar our Spanish Librarian.
