Congratulations to the PTO for a wonderful Halloween Frolic! Despite being postponed due to Hurricane Sandy, this all-inclusive event had many different activities in which students participated. It was great to see the CMS community come together and enjoy time together. Join Us for the Annual PTO Halloween Frolic on Tuesday, October 30th, 2012
The PTO-sponsored Halloween Frolic has been postponed from Thursday, October 25th to Tuesday, October 30th due to Tropical Storm Sandy. The revised time schedule is from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. This all-inclusive event has many different activities in which students can participate (e.g., booths, inflatables). Students may come dressed in Halloween costumes if they choose. Last Friday, the ES held its semi-annual Pep Assemblies: one for PK-2 and one for 3-5. Students cheered on their classmates during this friendly competition. The CMS' mascot, Sharkie, even made a guest appearance...a fun time was had by all!

HELPING HANDS ART EXHIBIT
The Fine Arts Department hosted the annual Helping Hands event on Thursday, May 3. This yearly occasion at CMS is another way that we as a community support local community service organizations by auctioning off students' artwork--elementary, middle, and high school--they have created over the past year.
