Support Services

Our purpose is to provide specialized services that support the educational goals of the school to enhance the student learning experiences that are essential and integral for CMS. These operational services are provided by the Business Office, Admissions, After School & Outreach, Communications, Development & Alumni Relations, Health Office, Human Resources, Information Technology and Maintenance departments to meet the needs of all students and staff.

Service Departments

  • The Business Office coordinates a variety of functions such as the school’s financial management, accounting, purchasing, warehousing, human resources management, payroll, healthcare, copy room services and the bookstore.

    We are committed to accomplishing our main objectives:

    • Assist in the operations needed to meet the educational goals of the school in financial accounting terms by tracking, controlling, recording, accumulating, categorizing and reporting CMS financial activity.

    • Provide with adequate cash management by ensuring cash availability to meet the daily needs and to increase the amount available for investment purposes.

    • Provide leadership in administrative accounting by coordinating yearly projections and closely monitoring the approved budget.

    • Assist in personnel management.

  • Health plays an important role in the learning process of each child. At Carol Morgan School we care about ensuring a complete medical service that allows your child and our staff to spend their time in school as healthy as possible.

    For this, we have created a medical service platform that allows us to guarantee fast and efficient medical attention for your child. We provide the following medical services to our students:

    • Health assessment for all students and staff

    • First aid attention

    • Health screening

    • Personalized health care plans for special needs

    • Transfer to emergencies in private ambulance services

    • Basic medication stock for common medical illnesses

    • Personal stock for individual medications

    • Ambulatory first aid kit for field trips

    • Medical support for sports activities and tournaments

    Our medical staff consists of 3 certified doctors who are fully bilingual and possess good human relations skills. This allows us to guarantee effective communication between our school, parents, and the caring of our students.

    Open Hours

    • Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

    • Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

    • Special schedule in case of school activities on campus.

  • Our main goal is to provide an environment that fulfills the personnel needs of the organization and each one of our employees.

    The school has different types of contracts for teachers: Foreign and Local. For other positions, the school only provides local contracts. The school also has part time employment opportunities, such as in the After School Program, as well as the availability to be part of our school substitute list to work on a daily basis, as needed.

  • Our main task is to maintain the constantly developing information technologies, follow modern trends and respond to current challenges so we can provide quality support for academic and administrative processes.

    In a relatively small team of people, and in close cooperation with the faculty, our IT team ensures that everything runs smoothly. Our IT staff consists of certified engineers specialized in different fields of technology.

    Computers have changed the complete global scenario of work and business. Today, computers are widely used in each and every aspect of life. Apart from data processing, training and educational purposes, computers have a wide ranging commercial use. Information and communication technologies are an important part of our daily routine, with the integration of the Internet, apps and web services.

  • The Maintenance department manages the day-to-day operations of the school’s physical plant and grounds, as well as the housing facilities for foreign hired staff. Our goal is to serve and support the great CMS community, making sure that buildings and their services meet the needs of the students, teachers and staff, as well as cleaning and maintaining school facilities and staff apartments in good condition.

    Services:

    • Daily classroom and ground cleaning

    • Maintenance and repair services for buildings, grounds, light and heavy machinery, school vehicles, and rented apartments for overseas faculty

    • Supervision of subcontracted services such as garbage disposal, fumigation and pest control, masonry works, and iron works

    • Operation and maintenance of the school’s electrical distribution system, emergency generators, air conditioning units, lighting systems and water treatment system

    • Support and assistance in the setup of extracurricular activities, special gatherings, and fundraising events sponsored by CMS

    • Planning and development of long-term facility expansion plans

    • Supervision and management of the school’s emergency system (fire alarm and public address systems)

  • The Welcome Center houses several departments that seek to enhance the CMS experience for our constituents, including prospect and current students and their families, by providing support in different areas such as Admissions, Communications, Development and Outreach, and Alumni Relations.

    These four departments provide support for inquiries and applications, offer campus tours, coordinate school-wide communications, organize fundraising events and After School Activities, and stay in touch with our alumni community.

    Our offices and reception area are located in the Welcome Center.
