Dear CMS Community:
Welcome to the Carol Morgan School!
We are proud to kick off another exciting year at Carol Morgan School, filled with opportunities for growth, innovation, and celebration.
This year, we have much to celebrate as we prepare to open our new Arts & Dining Center, a state-of-the-art facility that will enrich our students' creative, cultural, and educational experiences. Additionally, we will re-open an outdoor space for our students, the West Plaza, designed as an area for student outdoor activities. We are also excited to unveil a new, safe entrance on the Ana Teresa Paradas to ensure that our youngest CMS Sharks arrive and leave school in a secure environment. With the provisional cafeteria moving out of the library space, we are pleased to announce the full remodeling of the Middle School/High School Library, which is scheduled to be completed in December.
As we embrace these new beginnings, we are also committed to enhancing our academic programs by implementing assessment and feedback practices designed to better ensure student progress and success. Our ongoing work with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme remains a priority, and we look forward to continued progress as we advance toward full implementation and authorization.
Additionally, we are embarking on the development of a new strategic plan to guide our growth and strengthen our community over the coming years. This process will involve active participation from all stakeholders to shape a shared vision for our school's future.
As always, the well-being, safety, and academic achievement of our students remain our top priorities. Our dedicated faculty and staff continue to create meaningful, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences tailored to the diverse needs of our learners, all within a secure and nurturing environment.
This year, we aim to foster intentional collaboration, strengthen our organizational culture, and uphold our core values—Connect, Care, Create, and Contribute. We believe that strong partnerships between students, families, and staff are essential to reaching our shared goals.
Let’s approach this year with enthusiasm, resilience, and a collective spirit of achievement. Together, we will celebrate our successes, navigate challenges, and build an enriching environment where every student and staff member can thrive.
Here’s to a remarkable and rewarding 2025–2026 school year!
Cordially,
Dr. Kelly
